Our honeymoon was ALSO another week I will never forget. Having two weeks off of work was one thing, and spending a week of that in Negril, Jamaica was SO MUCH FUN! We did a lot while we were there. Jay went water-skiing three times, we went snorkeling which scared the crap out of me because I was SURE I'd run into Jaws at some point. We went on a glass bottom boat ride, went kayaking, ate some REALLY good food and soaked up some sun by laying on the beach and playing in the water. The highlight of our trip was our first time PARASAILING! That was the most incredible thing I have ever done. It's unreal how much of the world you can see when you're up that high! My sisters bought us a video camera for our wedding so we took it up with us (I know, real smart) and we have the whole thing recorded! We would love to go back ANYTIME and highly recommend the resort we stayed at!!

We had the best wedding party in the world. We were able to include my sisters, Jay's brothers and sisters, several of our friends, and our nieces and nephews. This is a pic of our dear friends and family. I think they're a pretty darn good-looking crew!

Our wedding was definitely memorable and a day that was amazing in so many ways. To be surrounded by family and friends and have everyone's love and support in taking our relationship to the next level was absolute bliss. We were married in Kansas City in a beautiful church by a fantastic priest. Many of our family and friends flew from New York, Utah, Colorado, Minnesota and Nebraska...we got married in the afternoon on July 26th, 2008, took a motorcoach bus to a nearby park with our wedding party to take pictures, and then celebrated the night away at our reception back at the church. The cake, the dancing, the toasts, the friends and family and the ceremony itself left us both feeling overwhelmed and extremely lucky. I can't help but be cheesy about all of it. It was a day and night we'll never forget! Everyone's prescence was such a blessing.

One of our favorite things to do is HIKING. We love figuring out new hikes and exploring to see what we can find along the way...and then ending up at a spot with a lake or beautiful scenery. When we get to our destination we find a big rock and have a seat to relax and take it all in. It's something we both love to do together more than anything.

This is our first dog we've ever had and I think we've both found that we're huge suckers for him. It's so much fun to come home every day to this little guy jumping around and greeting us at the door with excitement and kisses! We probably let him get away with too much. But it's way too much fun to have a little ball of fur to spoil. He goes everywhere with us...on hikes, to the park for walks, to the grocery store...he loves being in the car and we've taken him on a couple road trips to Colorado and Idaho. He's our pride and joy!

Jay and I are having a great time living in Utah and finding all of the fun things this state has to offer. In the past three years we have lived in three different states and are looking forward to settling down and making a life for ourselves here. I feel so blessed to have found Jay. He's a wonderful, honest, faithful person who takes really good care of me. We are learning more about each other all the time as we venture through our first year of marriage. We dated for two years before we got married and then took the plunge July 26th, 2008. A month before we got married we made a little addition to our family and got the best puppy in the whole world...Chewy! He is so entertaining, loving and playful. He's got quite the personality!
